Puget Sound senior Jamie Lange had a game-high 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead the visiting Loggers to a 53-50 win over Pacific University on Saturday night.
The Boxers (14-7, 8-4 NWC) were able to land a pair in double figures in the loss as junior
Camy Aguinaldo (pictured) scored a team-high 16 points to lead Pacific. She was joined in double figures by freshman
Brilie Kovaloff, who had 12 points.
The Loggers (11-10, 5-7 NWC) were led by the efforts from Lange, who was joined in double figures by Mara Henderson, who had 10 points.

Trailing 39-32 early into the fourth quarter, Pacific nearly came back with the victory as they shot a game-best 58.3% from the field.

Kovaloff made her second 3-pointer of the game and fellow freshman
Rilee Price made a jumper to bring the Boxers within two, 39-37 with 8:19 left to play. Lange came back to extend the lead to four before Kovaloff answered with a jumper with 7:21 left to play.

The game went back and forth and remained close as Aguinaldo tied the game at 50 when she made a layup with :34 left to play. Henderson made one of two free throws to put the visitors ahead 51-50 as the Boxers regained the possession with :30 left to go.

After a Pacific time out, the Boxers missed a chance to take the lead on a 3-pointer with :10 left to play. Henderson made two free throws for what proved to be the difference.

Next, Pacific will face Whitworth on its home court on Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. in Spokane.
