The Pacific University women's lacrosse team opened up its 2020 home portion of its schedule with a 19-0 loss to North Central on Friday afternoon at Hanson Stadium.
The Boxers (0-2), who on Wednesday dropped a 9-8 decision to Puget Sound to begin the season, were limited to six shots in the loss.
Dakota Dantzer, who scored a hat trick in the season opener, was the top offensive threat with three shots in the loss.
The Cardinals (4-0) were a balanced offensive attack with nine-different goal scorers and a solid defense that kept the Boxers off the scoreboard. Madeline McHugh, Jessica Deetjen, Grace Steiner and Annabelle Steiner each had three goals in the win to lead the visitors from Naperville, Illinois.
Next, Pacific will travel to Salem on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup against Willamette.
