While the outcome wasn't want the Boxer men's soccer team would have liked falling 1-0 to Willamette it was a contest that was tight with both teams putting together strong opportunities throughout, which differed from the first meeting to open the season. 

The lone goal came just under 24 minutes into the contest as Willamette registered a tally on the board and the Boxers despite a strong push at times were unable to get on the board themselves recording just three shot opportunities in the contest. 

Nico ALlen, Jared Debban, and Braden Kojima each recorded a shot for the Boxers, while both Connor Matto and Cole Stritzke each saw action at goalie in the contest recording two and three saves, respectively. 

Boxers will welcome George Fox to town on Sunday, March 21st to continue their season with the Northwest Conference contest slated for 4:00pm.
