The season continued on Wednesday night for the Boxer women's soccer team as they played host to Lewis & Clark and while the Boxers were able to get multiple solid offensive opportunities the Pioneers of Lewis & Clark proved to be to much handing Pacific the 3-0 loss.
The biggest different in the game was a pair of fouls on the Boxers that setup penalty kicks for Lewis & Clark and each time the Pioneers netted goals on those opportunities and added another in the 79th minute of the contest. Boxers fired off 11 shots in the contest but were unable to get one on point to find the back of the net.
Savannah Grosse recorded three shot attempts, while
Brooklyn Yano had two shot attempts of the Boxers 11 in the contest. In the goal both
Saya Brown and
Kali Barber each saw action in the matchup both recording two saves each in the loss.
With the loss the Boxers fell to 1-4 on the season, dropping the last four contests after a season opening win against Willamette on the road in overtime.
Boxers are back in action against the Pioneers on Sunday, March 21st as they travel to Portland for a road contest with Lewis & Clark.
