The Pacific University volleyball team dropped a 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-16 match to Lewis & Clark Friday night in Forest Grove.

Prior to the match, Pacific recognized three of their seniors
Terina DeFries,
Nanea Lum and
Jordan Zweifel. Over the past four years this senior class contributed to the best four-year record of any previous class during Pacific's NCAA Division III era.

Following the ceremony honoring the seniors, Pacific (5-2) took the opening set on 14 kills that came from six different Boxers. Lewis and Clark (5-0) was able to flip the script on the Boxers following the first set and took the next three sets to win the match.

Makenna Mahuna finished the contest with 40 assists and 11 digs to record her second double-double in as many days.

The Pioneers were led by Kelsey Parker who had 15 kills to go along with 10 digs.

The Boxers will wrap up the season with a final contest scheduled for April 9
th against George Fox in Newberg.
