A goal with seven minutes left in the match was the difference as host Linfield went on to a 1-0 win over the Pacific University men's soccer team on Sunday.

Linfield (3-4-0) got on the scoreboard in the 84^th minute when Seamus Miller found the back of the net on a cross from teammate Ryan Kister.
