After a thrilling overtime win against Linfield on Wednesday for the first win of the season the Pacific men's soccer team was back in action on Sunday against those same Wildcats of Linfield this time on the road in McMinnville.
This time the game was decided in regulation as Linfield got the better of the Boxers in a 2-0 contest moving the Boxers to 1-2 on the season.
Linfield took the lead in the 12
th minute of the contest with their first goal of the matchup and cemented control of the game in the 87
th minute as the Boxers suffered the 2-0 loss.
Boxers got seven shots off in the contest, but Linfield fired off 15 and both teams had five corner kick opportunities each.

Joey Musto and
Jared Debban all had shots on goal for the Boxers. Both
Connor Matto and
Cole Stritzke each saw action at goalkeeper.
Pacific heads back home for their next contest as they will host Willamette for Northwest Conference action on Sunday, March 14
th at 3:00pm.
