The Pacific University baseball team won three games over a four-game series with two games being played Saturday and the other two played on Sunday against Whitman College.

In the first game, Pacific claimed a 13-7 victory with the Boxers offense recording 13 hits. The Boxers offensive production was led by
Jordan Hara who recorded 2 hits, a double and a two-run homerun. Hara was responsible for 7 of the team's runs with 5 RBI's and 2 runs scored.
Isaac Lovings and
Ian Blair each contributed 3 RBI's with Lovings recording a double and a homerun.
Will Clark picked up the win on the mound after throwing 5 innings giving up 4 hits and 2 earned runs.

Pacific got on the board in the top of the 1
st on their way to a 5-1 win in 7 innings in game two. The Boxers offense was highlighted by
Chase Anderson going 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Freshman
Reyn Okita contributed to the Boxers offensive production going 2-4 with a double.
Kahi Bisho picked up the win on the mound pitching 5 innings while striking out 5.

Game three went to the Boxers 15-2 in 7 innings after Pacific tallied 17 hits. The Boxers found themselves up 15-0 heading into the bottom of the 7
th.
Ian Blair,
Damon Tanner and
Brad Altomare each recorded 3 hits in the game. Altomare and Tanner were each responsible for 4 RBI's while
Tyler Quinn contributed 3 RBI's.
Derek Eubanks had a stellar performance on the mound picking up the win after throwing 6 innings while giving up no earned runs.

In a pitchers dual, Whitman was able to come out with the 1-0 win in game four of the series. The Boxers used three different pitchers who combined for 6 hits and only 1 earned run. Pacific was only able to get 2 hits in the loss with one coming from
Chase Anderson and the other coming from the bat of
Nolan McNeill.

The Boxers now have a 5-game lead in first place of the NWC standings and will play next weekend at home in a four-game series against Linfield.
