The Pacific University baseball team took three of a four game series over the weekend against Linfield.

Pacific was able to take game one 7-0, behind a stellar pitching performance from sophomore
Will Clark. Clark pitched 7 innings, striking out four and only allowing 2 hits.
Liam Cammall took over in the eighth inning and did not give up a hit over his two innings of work to close out the win.

Pacific took game two 5-4 over the Wildcats. Pacific's offense highlighted the game with 3 of the 6 hits being extra base hits. Pacific opened up the scoring in the 2
nd inning following a
Brandon Silowka triple.
Brad Altomare was responsible for 2 of the team's 5 RBI's in the game.

Game three went to the Wildcats who recorded a 16-7 victory over the Boxers. In a game that went 3 hours and 10 minutes, the teams combined for 29 hits and 23 runs in the contest. Pacific held a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the 4
th following a 3 run homerun from
Ryan Krout. Linfield would score 12 unanswered runs over the next 5 innings.
Chase Anderson went 3 for 4 in the game while recording 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored.

The Boxers were able to close out the series with a 7-2 win in game four. Pacific tallied 8 hits in the 7 inning contest.
Chase Anderson went 2 for 4 with a double and a triple.
Ryan Krout, who hit in the second spot, went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Pacific freshman pitcher,
Brian Kraft, led the way on the mound throwing 4 innings while giving up 3 hits.

Pacific will look to continue adding to their NWC lead on May 1
st and 2
nd in a four game series at Willamette University.
