Women's Tennis Falls 7-2 Against Linfield

The Pacific University women's tennis team fell Saturday 7-2 in a match against Linfield University.

Linfield was able to get out to a strong start by taking all three doubles matches going 8-6, 8-0, 8-0. Needing to have strong singles play in order to mount a comeback, the Boxers were led by a win from Cassidy Binder 6-1, 6-3 to claim the first point. Sydnie Binder followed that up with a win at number 2 singles going 6-0, 6-1. Despite all very strong efforts from Jessica Eligio, Kailei Eustis, Cara Tamaye and Gillian Mead, the Boxers fell short from securing any additional points.

The Boxers will take the court again April 24th in a match against Whitworth University.
