The Pacific University women's tennis team swept Willamette 9-0 on Saturday in Salem.
Pacific started out strong by winning all three doubles matches for the first time this season. At #1 doubles,
Sydnie Binder and
Cassidy Binder won 8-0.
Kailei Eustis and
Cara Tamaye paired up at #2 doubles and were able to collect an 8-4 victory. With an 8-4 victory,
Jessica Eligio and
Kendall Taomoto capped off the doubles portion of the match at #3 doubles.
In singles play, the Boxers for the first time this season won all six single matches. At #1 singles,
Cassidy Binder won 6-0, 6-0. At the completion of the #2 singles match,
Sydnie Binder won 6-0, 6-0.
Jessica Eligio picked up the win at #3 singles going 6-2, 6-2.
Kailei Eustis and
Cara Tamaye each went 6-0, 6-0 at the #4 and #5 singles spot. Finally,
Gillian Mead put the final touches on the match going 6-0, 6-1 at the #6 singles spot.
