NEWBERG, Ore. – Pacific's defense put in a brilliant performance to earn a point against unbeaten George Fox in a scoreless draw on Wednesday night.
The hosts fired 29 shots but only placed 12 on target as the Boxers' defense kept the opposing attack from drifting into dangerous areas. Goalkeeper
Kylie Pascual was excellent between the posts with her career-best 11 saves.

How It Happened
George Fox held 65% of the possession in the contest but were unable to create any clear-cut scoring chances in the opening 45 minutes. The second half was much of the same, but the Bruins were frantic in the final 10 minutes in the attempt to find a winning goal.
Pascual and the Pacific backline continued to defend heroically to earn the clean sheet. Of George Fox's 28 shots, 17 came from outside the penalty area. The hosts did not attempt a shot inside the six-yard box.
The Boxers' compact and organized set up kept the conference's best attack at bay to grab a well-earned point on the road.
What It Means
