FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Pacific struggled on Friday night as Pacific Lutheran picked up the convincing 3-0 victory to earn all three points.
The Lutes netted two early goals and tacked on one more in the second half in a commanding performance. Pacific played on the back foot for majority of the match and mustered just seven shots with three on target. PLU racked up 13 total shots with five on frame.

How It Happened
The visitors scored twice within the first five minutes to take an early 2-0 lead. The Boxers clawed their way back into the game, gaining more possession towards the end of the half, but could not create any clear-cut chances.
Pacific Lutheran put the game away with a third and final goal in the 76
th minutes to cap off the 3-0 score line.
What It Means
Pacific falls to 5-5-3 overall and 2-5-3 in Northwest Conference play, but retain sixth place in the table.
