NEWBERG, Ore.- Pacific Swimming turned in some solid performances at the Bruin Invitational hosted by George Fox.
The Boxers were unable to compete in the second day of the event, but the women's team still managed to reach the podium in third place while the men's team slipped into fourth place.
Top Performances
- The relay team of Anne Marie Grieder-Jacobs, Julie Abrigonde, Allison Simon, and Jazmyn Capron-Graves opened the competition by coming out victorious in the 200-yard freestyle relay with their time of 1:44.07.
- Josh Joireman grabbed 16 points for the team with his third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 53.66.
- In the 200-yard backstroke, Anne Marie Grieder-Jacobs finished in the top spot with her time of 2:13.52 while Hannah Brandow came in third (2:18.47).
- Jazmyn Capron-Graves earned a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle as she touched the wall at 56.78.
- Capron-Graves, Abrigonde, Brandow, and Madelyn Russell teamed up to close the event with a second-place time of 4:25.77 in the 400-yard medley relay.
