WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Pacific Men's Soccer were unable to create any clear scoring opportunities in the 1-0 defeat at Whitman on Sunday afternoon.
The Boxers recorded just one shot in the contest as the hosts took full control of the match, racking up 16 shots with eight on target.

How It Happened
The Boxers defended well and kept the Blues at bay for the first 45 minutes. Despite some well-organized defending, Whitman opened the scoring in the 54
th minute through Edwin Romero.
This would prove to be the winning goal as Forest Grove's team couldn't seem to find a foothold in the match.
What It Means
Pacific falls to 0-5-1, still looking for its first win of the season and its first points of conference play. Whitman remains unbeaten in NWC action, improving to 1-0-1 to earn four points out of a possible six.
