Pacific Lutheran quickly showed why it has one of the top women's soccer programs in the Northwest Conference.
The Lutes scored two goals in the first four minutes Sunday at Hanson Stadium to defeat Pacific 4-0.
Pacific Lutheran, which entered the match with a 4-1 record in the NWC, including an 8-1 victory at George Fox, added a third goal in the 29th minute and then struck again in the 59th minute.

Chanyn Santos had shots on goal for Pacific, which suffered its fifth straight conference loss. The Boxers have scored just one goal in the losing streak.
Next, Pacific plays at Willamette on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
