Pacific was coming off back-to-back Northwest Conference victories.
But the Boxers couldn't extend the winning streak to three, falling 2-0 to George Fox Sunday at Hanson Stadium.
Pacific fell behind early as the Bruins scored in the 8th minute to take a 1-0 lead. George Fox then added a penalty kick in the 35th minute.Â
The Boxers were also rewarded a penalty kick in the match, but
Brodie Buchert's shot was saved by Keoni Gavino in the 13th minute.
Pacific finished with five shots on goal, including two by
Adam Landy.
The Boxers dropped to 3-6-5 overall and 3-5-2 in the NWC with the loss.Â
Next, Pacific hosts Whitman College on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2:30 p.m.
