Playing in front of the home crowd for the first time in 15 days, Pacific came out strong, winning the first set 25-16.

But it was all Linfield from there as the Wildcats won three straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, 25-13, on their way to a 3-1 victory Friday night. 

Linfield never trailed in the second set and used a 7-0 run to take a 13-5 lead and control of the set. Tied 12-12, the Wildcats went on a 5-1 run to take the lead for good in the third set. Linfield then raced out to a 7-1 lead in the fourth set to finish off the Boxers. 

Mara Murphy had 17 kills, four aces and 10 digs to lead Pacific. Alison Brown recorded 10 kills. Emily Cheavtharn recorded 36 assists and 10 digs.

Next, Pacific hosts Willamette on Saturday inside the Stoller Center for senior night.
