The Lutes capitalized on a 2 RBI homerun in the fifth to plate two more runs to take the 3-0 lead into the sixth.

Carter and Patton got things started up for the Boxers in the final inning with back-to-back singles. Gamble stepped into the lineup to pinch hit with two outs and one last rally attempt and blasted a three-run homer to keep the Boxers alive.

The long ball continued in the final frame of the game with a Lutes solo homerun that gave them the 4-3 victory.

Game 2
