Alissa Hermansen tossed her third complete game of the season to lead the Pacific softball team to a split at Lewis & Clark on Saturday.

After getting run-ruled 8-0 in the series opener, the Boxers responded with a 5-1 victory in Game 2.

The Boxers were held to just one hit in the loss – an
Abby Surowiec double to lead off the top of the fourth inning.Â

Pacific had four errors in the loss.Â

The Boxers took their first lead of the series in the top of the second on a sacrifice fly by
Ava Hlavacek. Pacific then took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning when
KJ Gardenhire drew a bases-loaded walk to score
Libby Hardee.

The Boxers added three more runs in the seventh inning. Hardee finished 2-for-4 with a run and RBI. Surowiec was 2-for-4 with a run.Â

Hermansen held the River Otters to six hits and one run over seven innings.
