PARKLAND, Wash. -- Pacific (4-6, 0-2) will have to wait for its first Northwest Conference win of the season.
The Boxers fell 3-0 (22-25, 8-25, 14-25) Friday night at Pacific Lutheran.
Trailing 22-14 in the first set, Pacific rallied to get within 24-22 before the Lutes clinched the game on a kill by Claire Hindman.
Pacific Lutheran then raced out to an 11-2 lead in the second set to take complete control of the match.Â
The Boxers scored the first point of the third set on an attack error. But the Lutes answered with a 5-0 run and never trailed again.
Pacific Lutheran finished with a .305 hitting percentage over the three games, while the Boxers hit just .034.Â

Mara Murphy had nine kills, two aces and nine digs in the loss.
Emily Cheavtharn added 17 assists and eight digs.Â
Next, the Boxers return home to play Saint Martin's College on Tuesday in a non-conference match.Â
