NEWBERG -- With 5 seconds remaining in the first half,
Katelyn Volchok found the back of the net to break a 0-0 tie.
The Pacific senior was just getting started as Volchok scored again early in the second half to lead the Boxers to a 2-0 win Saturday at George Fox.
Both teams finished with 12 total shots as well as six shots on goal. Freshman
Mirella Garcia had three shots on goal for the Boxers. Sophomore
Gwendolyn Saing also put a shot on goal in the win.

Isabella De La Cruz had six saves to preserve the shutout.
Next, the Boxers host Lewis & Clark Sunday at noon in their first home match since Sept. 1.
