SPOKANE, Wash. -- Pacific put three shots on goal, but the Boxers couldn't find the back of the net, falling 2-0 Saturday at Whitworth.

Emmy Moore scored the Pirates first goal in the 13th minute on a free kick.

Moore then assisted Maddie Kutschkau for a header that richocheted off the crossbar and into the bottom left corner of the goal to give Whitworth a 2-0 lead in the 46th minute.

Mirella Garcia, Catalina Alvarado and Julia Fechter each had a shot on goal for Pacific, who dropped to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Northwest Conference.

Goalkeeper Isabella De La Cruz recorded five saves in the loss.

The Boxers play at Whitman on Sunday before returning home on Friday, Sept. 29 to take on Puget Sound.
