Â
So when the sisters and doubles partners advanced to the finals of the yellow bracket, they both agreed to share the singles championship Sunday at the Pacific 5-Way Tournament.
Â
Cassidy, the No. 1 seed, and Sydnie, the No. 2 seed, both cruised to the finals.
Cassidy Binder won 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals and then 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals.
Sydnie Binder won 6-3, 6-3 and 7-5, 6-0.Â
Â
The Binder sisters also won the red doubles bracket, defeating George Fox's Kalli Wiker and Riley Bobkiewicz 8-2 in the finals.Â
Â
The Binders weren't the only Pacific players to have a strong opening tournament.Â
Â

Sofia Mazzola won the blue singles bracket, defeating George Fox's Elizabeth Cook 6-2, 6-1 in the finals.
Â
