PORTLAND -- Behind a career-high 34 points from
Lucas Winkler, Pacific defeated Lewis & Clark 77-63 Saturday night for its first Northwest Conference road victory of the season.
Winkler, who went 5-for-5 from behind the 3-point arc, also had five rebounds, four assists and four steals in the win.Â
As a team, the Boxers shot 54.2 percent from 3, making 13 of 24 attempts.
Jake Blazona had 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in the victory.
Devin Fortune added eight points and seven rebounds.
Tied 21-21 with 7:58 remaining in the first half, Pacific went on a 12-0 run to take control of the game. The Boxers led for the entire second half, by as few as five points and as many as 14.
Pacific improved to 9-8 overall and 3-5 in the Northwest Conference.Â
Next, the Boxers host Whitworth on Friday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. inside the Stoller Center.
