The Pacific men's soccer team is heating up.
The Boxers defeated visiting Whitworth 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Hanson Stadium for their third straight victory.
A header by junior
Garrett Heuett off a
Brodie Buchert free kick gave Pacific a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute. Freshman
Gregory Wheeler then scored the first goal of his college career in the 66th minute.
Senior goalkeeper
Zach Aderinto had five saves to record his second straight shutout and his fourth of the season.
