SALEM -- Pacific has a new single-season and career rushing leader.
Brody Bantolina broke both school records Saturday in a 24-10 win at Willamette.Â
The junior running back finished with 191 yards on 26 carries to bring his 2024 total to 1,400 yards and his career mark to 2,784, passing Joshua Harris (2018-21) for both records.Â
Willamette struck first to take a 7-0 lead on a 10-yard touchdown run with 10:23 remaining in the second quarter.
But
Josiah Chaffin answered with a 79-yard kick off return and
Jackson Green kicked a 30-yard field goal to give the Boxers a 10-7 lead at halftime.

Braeden Titus connected with tight end
Brandon Racz for a 10-yard touchdown pass to extend Pacific's advantage to 17-7 with 11:47 remaining in the third quarter.
After the Bearcats added a field goal with 8:19 remaining in the game, Pacific's
Lucas Voss punched the ball into the end zone from the 2-yard line with 2:46 to go to finish off Willamette.Â
The Boxers finished with 308 yards on the ground in the Northwest Conference victory.
Tatum Tausaga and
Nehemiah Faleulu each had seven tackles to lead Pacific's defense, which held the Bearcats to 192 total yards.
The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Boxers, who have won 10 straight against Willamette.Â
