Box Score TACOMA, Wash. -- Pacific's women's tennis team rolled to an 8-1 victory at Puget Sound Sunday afternoon.
The Boxers won all three doubles matches.
Sisters Sydnie and
Cassidy Binder rolled to an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Stella Nishimura and
Sofia Mazzola won 8-3 at 2 doubles.
Mia Yamaguchi and
Valentina Casab-Klescova also won 8-3 at 3 doubles.
Pacific also won five of the six singles matches.
Cassidy Binder defeated Kaylee Yamada 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and
Sydnie Binder cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Marrisa Perez at 2 singles.Â
Nishimura had no trouble at 3 singles, topping Krishna Agraval 6-1, 6-0. Mazzola didn't lose a game at 4 singles, shutting out Zoe Richter 6-0, 6-0.Â
Morgan Wagoner edged Sydney Swartz 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.Â
Next, the Boxers host Whitworth on Sunday, March 17 at the Holce Tennis Courts in Forest Grove.
