Sophomore Carter Zeiset's first half goal helped the Pacific men's soccer team battle back for a 1-1 draw with Willamette on Sunday afternoon at Hanson Stadium.
The Bearcats struck first in the 29th minute. But Pacific responded eight minutes later, as Zeiset found the back of the net off an assist from Nico Lomanto to even the match at 1-1.
Neither side was able to break through in the second half despite several promising spells of possession. Pacific goalkeeper Kobi Miyamoto recorded one save in a solid defensive performance, while the Boxers matched Willamette with three corner kicks apiece.
Pacific was outshot 8-3 but made the most of its opportunities, placing all three attempts on target. Zeiset, Tyler Scott, and Garrett Heuett each registered shots on goal for the Boxers.
With the draw, Pacific improved to 2-4-3 in the Northwest Conference.
