MCMINNVILLE – The Pacific men's soccer team earned a road point Wednesday night, playing Linfield to a 1-1 draw in Northwest Conference action.
After a scoreless first half, the Boxers struck first in the 62nd minute when Noah Gosch finished off a pass from Tyler Scott to put Pacific in front.
But the Wildcats evened the score in the 73rd minute.
Pacific outshot Linfield 11-5 and held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks, but couldn't find a late winner. Trenton Zimmermann and Carter Zeiset also had shots on goal for the Boxers. Kobi Miyamoto made two saves in goal.
With the result, Pacific moved to 2-6-5 overall and 2-4-4 in NWC play. The Boxers have tied three straight opponents 1-1.
