Behind a season-high four goals, the Pacific men's soccer team rolled to a 4-0 Northwest Conference victory over Lewis & Clark Friday night.
Sophomore
Carter Zeiset got Pacific started in the 26th minute, finishing a pass from junior
Caden Matsumoto to give the Boxers a 1-0 lead. SeniorÂ
Tyler Scott doubled the lead in the 65th minute off a setup from freshman
Cole Affolter.Â
After junior
Nico Lomanto buried a penalty kick in the 66th minute, a Lewis & Clark own goal completed the scoring in the 86th minute.
Pacific dominated from start to finish, outshooting the Pioneers 15–5 and putting 10 shots on goal.Â
Lewis & Clark played the final 24 minutes a man down after Talen Haywood received a red card.Â
Freshman goalkeeper
Kobi Miyamoto had four saves to record his third shutout of the season.
With the victory, the Boxers improved to 3-6-4 in conference play and 7-0 all-time against Lewis & Clark.
Next: Pacific hosts Puget Sound on Saturday, Nov. 1 for senior day.
