TACOMA, Wash. -- The Pacific women's soccer team got another strong defensive performance Sunday afternoon, shutting out Puget Sound to earn a 0-0 draw.
The tie was the Boxers fifth in conference play. Pacific has allowed just two goals in its last six matches, including five on the road.Â
Puget Sound outshot Pacific 14-3, earning eight corner kicks, but Pacific's defense stood tall throughout. Sophomore Goalkeeper

Taite Taniguchi and
Mirella Garcia recorded shots on goal for the Boxers.
The draw broke a 14-match losing streak to Puget Sound, dating back to the 2017 season.
