TACOMA, Wash. -- The Pacific women's soccer team got another strong defensive performance Sunday afternoon, shutting out Puget Sound to earn a 0-0 draw.

The tie was the Boxers fifth in conference play. Pacific has allowed just two goals in its last six matches, including five on the road. 

Puget Sound outshot Pacific 14-3, earning eight corner kicks, but Pacific's defense stood tall throughout. Sophomore Goalkeeper Jaelynn Moo had five saves for her second shutout of the season.

Taite Taniguchi and Mirella Garcia recorded shots on goal for the Boxers.

The draw broke a 14-match losing streak to Puget Sound, dating back to the 2017 season.
