The Pacific women's soccer team got off to fast start on senior day, scoring a goal less than one minute into Saturday's match.
But Puget Sound answered with goals in the 35th and 60th minute to defeat the Boxers 2-1 at Hanson Stadium.
Pacific senior
Gwendolyn Saing scored the Boxers only goal of the game 56 seconds into the match. The goal was Saing's fourth of the season and first since Sept. 28.
Pacific senior goalkeeper
Kylie Pascual made four saves, but the Boxers struggled to generate sustained offensive pressure, finishing with just two total shots and one corner kick.
Puget Sound controlled the match with seven shots (six on goal) and four corner kicks, maintaining possession through much of the second half.
