The Pacific men's basketball team will enter the Holiday break on a five-game winning streak.
The Boxers defeated Alma 90-77 Saturday night inside the Stoller Center.
After a slow start and trailing 32-21 with 8:43 remaining in the first half, Pacific responded with a 10-0 run to get within 32-31 with 5:28 to go. A
Lucas Gray 3-pointer put the Boxers on top for good, 36-34, with 3:48 remaining. The Scots made just one field goal in the final 8:30 of the first half as Pacific went into halftime with a nine point lead, 45-36.
The Boxers then extended its advantage to as many as 16 points in the second half.Â
Pacific junior
Anthony Hrboka recorded his third 30-point game of the young season to go along with six assists and four rebounds.
Ryder Mackay had 13 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Gray finished with 13 points, four assists and three rebounds.
Brody Baumgartner added 10 points and six rebounds.
The five-game winning streak is the longest since the Boxers opened the 2017-18 season 8-0.Â
