OREGON CITY -- Two Pacific wrestlers had to battle their way through the consolation bracket at the Clackamas Community College Open.
Senior
TJ Turner and freshman
Matthew Gray both placed fifth in their respective weight classes on Sunday.
At 125 pounds, Turner defeated Umpqua Community College's Chase Manski by sudden victory in the fifth-place match. After losing in the 165-pound quarterfinals, Gray earned a tech fall and pin to remain in the tournament. He then won by medical forfeit to finish fifth.
Pacific freshman
Garrett Head (125) and senior
Spyre Nelson (184) also earned victories on Sunday.
