The Pacific women's tennis team celebrated senior day with a 5-2 win over George Fox Sunday.
With the victory, the Boxers climbed to second in the final Northwest Conference regular season standings, passing the Bruins, who won the first matchup 4-3 at George Fox on March 9.
Pacific's No. 1 duo,
Cassidy Binder and Chloe Takashi, and No. 2 squad,
Sofia Mazzola and
Stella Nishimura, both won 6-3 to secure the doubles point for the Boxers.
Nishimura, who missed the first match against George Fox with an injury, also cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles.
At 1 singles, Binder remained undefeated by defeating Riley Bobkiewicz 6-0, 6-1.
Pacific senior
Valentina Casab-Klescova edged Juhree Kizziar 6-4, 7-5 at 5 singles. Sophomore
Mia Yamaguchi topped Cassey Hitch 6-2, 6-3 at 6 singles.
Next: The Boxers will play in the Northwest Conference women's tennis tournament on April 18-19 at Whitman.
