Pacific's Ally Hammond qualifies for NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Ally Hammond has officially qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The Pacific junior enters the meet as the No. 8 seed in the women's 100-meter hurdles after finishing in a new school and Northwest Conference record time of 14.03 seconds at George Fox on Thursday.

Hammond, who placed runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles at the Indoor Track and Field Championships in March, will compete in the Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 22-24 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

For each individual event contested, including the decathlon and heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted.
