Ally Hammond will race for a national championship.
Competing in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday morning, the Pacific junior ran a personal best time of 13.88 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, improving on her school and Northwest Conference record.
Hammond finished second in both her heat and overall out of 22 runners across three heats.
Hammond, the 2025 Indoor national runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles, will run in the final of the 100 hurdles Saturday at 11 a.m.
