The Whitworth hitters continued to have no answer for
Haleigh Colfelt.
In her final game in the circle, the Pacific senior threw a complete game shutout to lead the Boxers to a 5-0 Northwest Conference win.
Colfelt, who allowed just four hits Sunday afternoon in the final softball game of the 2025 season, pitched a combined 12 innings against the Pirates in the series, holding Whitworth to five total hits and one unearned run.
Pacific went 3-1 against the Pirates Saturday and Sunday to finish 8-20 in NWC play.
Pinch runner
Alyssa Mateo scored the first run on a sacrifice fly by senior
Faith Lawson to put the Boxers up 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Pacific then added four runs in the sixth inning.
Senior
Addie MacPherson drove in two runs with a single to center field. Senior
Ashley Ballew-McPherson then had an RBI single to right field. Lawson scored on a bases loaded walk by
Kaimalino Ingram to give the Boxers a 5-0 lead.
Game 3
Whitworth opened Sunday's final doubleheader with a 6-3 victory at Pacific.
The Pirates had 13 hits and took advantage of four Pacific errors.
After Ingram drove in two runs on a double to center field to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Whitworth answered with two runs in the fifth and another run in the sixth.
