SPOKANE, Wash. -- Down a goal at halftime, the Pacific men's soccer team put three shots on frame in the second half. But the Boxers could not find the equalizer Sunday afternoon in a 1-0 loss at Whitworth.
The Pirates netted the only goal of the game in the 42nd minute to win the Northwest Conference matchup.

Kobi Miyamoto kept the the Boxers within striking distance, making four saves while playing all 90 minutes.Â

Elliott Morgan recorded shots on goal for Pacific. The Boxers were outshot 13-6 in the loss.
