SALEM – The Pacific men's basketball team wrapped up the 2025-26 season Friday night with a 83-69 loss at Willamette.
The Boxers led by as many as seven points in the first half, 20-13, with 11:45 remaining. But Pacific entered the break down five, 43-38.
An Athony Gehring layup put the Boxers ahead 49-48 with 14:57 remaining in the game. However, the Bearcats answered with a 15-4 run to take control of the game and extended their led to as many as 20 points in the second half.
Pacific junior
Max Vacco led the Boxers with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks.
Anthony Hrboka had 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Romyn Johnson added 10 points and three rebounds off the bench.
Pacific finished the season 6-10 in the Northwest Conference and 10-15 overall.
