NEWBERG – The Pacific baseball team wrapped up Northwest Conference play Sunday with a 9-3 victory at George Fox.
With the series sweep, the Boxers finished 12-12 in conference play.
Pacific scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning and added four more runs in the eighth.
Will Shelor was 2-for-4 with an RBI double.
Hunter Nishina went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run and two stolen bases.
Trevor Kazahaya was 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI.
Luis Robles-Malan was 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
On the mound, freshman
Max Feierstein held the Bruins to just one hit over five innings to earn his first win.
Next: The Boxers will celebrate senior day on Friday with a doubleheader against Whittier starting at 2 p.m.
