Former Pacific player Andrew Beatty is in his third season as an assistant coach at his alma mater.
Beatty works with Pacific’s perimeter players and assists with recruiting and the junior varsity program.
The Lynnwood, Wash. native was the starting point guard for the Boxers, leading the team in assists in 2010-11 (62) and was third on the squad in steals. He was injured in 2011-12, but in 2012-13 he helped lead Boxers to a 15-10 overall record.
Beatty came to Pacific via Skagit Valley CC, where he was a Second Team All-NWAACC pick averaging 15.7 points and 4.7 assists a contest.
Beatty graduated from Pacific with a degree in psychology. He currently works for Nike and is a member of the Army National Guard.
