FOREST GROVE — In her final collegiate home meet, senior
Rachel Webster recorded three victories to help the Pacific women to a 105-97 victory over Willamette at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center, while the Boxers men fell 114-88 to the Bearcats.
The Pacific women struck for 11-team points in the opening event of the morning, as
Alex Winslow (Bend, Ore.),
Kayla Knock (Colorado Springs, Colo.),
Stephanie Bultman (Bothell, Wash.) and
Colleen Murphy (Valdez, Alaska) won the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:57.08.
The Boxers men earned their first victory in the 200-freestyle when
Raymond Miller (Portland, Ore.) finished at 1:48.98.
Alissa Frazier (Oregon City, Ore.) won the 50-freestyle on the women's side with a time of 25.65, while
Kevin Quan (Portland, Ore.) picked up the men's victory with a 22.61 swim.
Webster (Normandy Park, Wash.) won her first event in the 400-individual medley, clocking in at 4:53.74. Webster's second win came in the very next women's event as she cruised to victory with a time of 1:03.38 in the 100-butterfly.
Miller earned his second victory of the day in the 100-butterfly with a season-best time of 53.37.
The Boxers' streak of victories continued in the 100-freestyle as Frazier's 56.27 won the women's race and
Derek Dunn (Springfield, Ore.) and his time of 52.22 won the men's event.
Winslow won the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:05.46, before Willamette won the men's race and snapped the Boxers' event winning streak at five events.
Webster's third win was secured when she won the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:42.20. Miller won the men's 500-freestyle at 5:01.80.
Quan picked up a second victory in the 100-breaststroke with a 1:01.48.
Prior to the beginning of the meet, Pacific honored its senior class of: Webster, Bultman,
Charles Morse (Forest Grove, Ore.) and
Aidan Lindsey (Portland, Ore.).
The Boxers wrap-up the dual season on January 28 at Lewis & Clark.
