SPOKANE, Wash. — Pacific sophomore
Callie Hinson won the 50-yard freestyle on Saturday afternoon, but the Pirates outscored the Boxers 116-88 in the dual.
The Boxers opened the meet with a first and second place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. Pacific's A-squad finished at 4:27.46, while the B-squad posted a time of 4:35.84. The A-squad was made up of: freshman

Kayla Knock (Colorado Springs, Colo.), senior
Elizabeth Cruz (Castro Valley, Calif.) and freshman
Kimberly Garcia (Hacienda Heights, Calif.). The B-squad was comprised of: freshman
Grace Connelly (Grants Pass, Ore.), freshman
Kendall Rickey (Yakima, Wash.), sophomore
Maggie Stevenson (Corvallis, Ore.) and senior
Colleen Murphy (Valdez, Alaska).
Pacific next earned points in the 200-yard freestyle when Connelly finished second at 2:09.33.
Hinson's (Salem, Ore.) win came in the seventh event of the afternoon, when she out touched Whitworth's Hannah Galbraith by .03. Hinson touched at 26.46, while Galbraith finished at 26.49.
Junior
Maya Okamura (Pukalani, Hawaii) and Knock finished second and third, respectively, in the 200-yard individual medley. Okamura swam to a time of 2:23.83, while Knock finished with a time of 2:26.12.
Sophomore
Lauren McWilliams (Gilbert, Ariz.) swam to third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:25.34.
Hinson and freshman
Avery Beckius (Grants Pass, Ore.) finished back-to-back in the 100-yard freestyle as Hinson posted a second place time of 1:00.93, while Beckius was third at 1:03.86.
Connelly was second in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:22.45 mark, while in event 17 Mak finished the 500-yard freestyle in third with a time of 5:51.79.
Knock recorded a second place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:35.49 in the final individual event of the afternoon.
The Boxers finished second and third in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the A-squad finishing second with a time of 4:02.41, while the B-squad posted a 4:15.68. The A-squad featured: Hinson, McWilliams, Murphy and Garcia, while the B-squad was made up of: Cruz, Stevenson, Okamura and Mak.
Pacific takes a break from dual action on December 2, with a trip to Corvallis to take place in the CAT Senior Open, hosted by the Corvallis Aquatic Team.
