Bailey Hoshino (pictured) and Janet Silva each won a match at the Spokane Collegiate Open to lead the Pacific women's wrestling team on Sunday.
Silva won a consolation bout by forfeit at 155 lbs. after dropping a 9-0 decision to Maria Enriquez.
At 116 lbs., Hoshino came back from a 10-5 loss to Kaylee Gaines of Southern Oregon, who went on to finish second in the main draw. Hoshino came back with a pin in her consolation bout against Marie Seely of Southwest Oregon Community College. Then, she lost by a 4-0 margin to Angelica Sletten of University of Providence to end her tournament.
