Davis Holly (Bend, Ore.) who scored 17 points and handed out six assists for the sixth time this season and senior
Jay Merriweather (Buena Park, Calif.), who added 12 points in a reserve role. The Boxers shot 45.9 percent from the field for the game and outscored the Bearcats' bench by a 16-6 margin, while also outscoring the Bearcats in the paint 42-15.
The Willamette (10-12, 5-8 NWC) attack was led by a pair of double double peformances. Jordan Jenkins totaled 22 points and 13 rebounds and Nico Troplent had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bearcats, plus Nathan Sherfey scored 13 points. The Bearcats held a 41-35 rebounding advantage in the contest and shot 39.7 percent from the field.
Pacific shot a staggering 50 percent from the field in the first half, however Willamette used a 13-2 first half run to gain a four-point advantage at halftime. The Bearcats opened the second half on a 6-0 run on back-to-back three-pointers to gain their largest lead of the night - 10 points.
