For the second time in three matches, the Pacific University men's soccer team played to a tie. This time, the Boxers played to a 0-0 tie against host Puget Sound on Saturday in Tacoma.
The Boxers (1-5-3, 0-3-2 NWC) defense has allowed a goal or less on three occasions – all three have resulted in ties. An anchor to the defense has been goalkeeper
Brock Jones, who recorded his third shutout of the season.
The Loggers (3-4-2, 1-2-2) Wren Norwood recorded the shutout for Puget Sound. It is his second shutout of the season.
Pacific head coach
Eric Mild explained that it was a gritty performance for the Boxers. "I am proud of the team's effort and heart in today's contest."
