The Pacific men's and women's swimming teams saw multiple swimmers post season-best performances on day two of the 2019 Northwest Conference Swimming Championships on Friday.
Senior
Aukai Kea reached the consolation finals with a season-best time of 22.03 in the 50-yard freestyle. Earlier in the day, the Boxers got a season-best performance from freshman
Julia Crumb, who touched the wall in 5:37.91 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Along with Kea in the 50-yard freestyle,
Rayce Houser made a 1.88 second improvement on his season-best with a time of 26.46.
Three Boxer women also recorded season-best marks in the 50-yard freestyle including
Kimberly Garcia (26.56),
Maggie Stevenson (28.26) and
Avery Beckius (28.32). Garcia also had a season-best in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:32.14.
Also on the men's side,
Reed Charron had a season-best performance in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:22.05.
