Senior Josh Huffman of the Pacific men's track and field team was named Northwest Conference Men's Field Student-Athlete of the Week for a third time in 2019 on Monday. The Puyallup, Washington native won both the shot put (48-6 / 14.92m) and the discus (153-2 / 46.68m) at the Pacific Lu'au Invitational to lead the Boxers. He has won the discus competition in five meets, this spring and this was his first win in the shot put, this spring.  Presently, he ranks 21st nationally and second in the Northwest Conference in the discus; plus in the shot put - he is 2nd in the Northwest Conference.
